Soda El Muellecito is a perpetual local favorite where the ferry boats to Puerto Jimenez pull in and taxi boats for hire come and go daily. Those who reside out along the Golfo Dulce coast often moor their boats at the ramp alongside here while shopping in town- appreciating the convenience in this rendezvous spot. A central stopover for a quick coffee with home-style Costa Rican typical foods prepared exactly as a 'Tico Mama' would. Breakfast and Lunch.
Sailed in and did a water landing to have a late lunch. The grounds include cabins for rent and next to Golfito Wildlife Refuge. They offer a great variety of options but opted for the grilled fish and plantains. Both were made fresh to order. Others in my party ordered arroz con pollo / shrimp. Everything tasted amazing. Their portions are large so you won't go away hungry. Don't look for a quick turnaround time, it took some time to prepare. Take the time to enjoy an ice cold beer and stroll the beach while waiting to eat. The people working the restaurant are very friendly. Would definitely go back.
Las cadenas de las boyas, redes, cañas de pescar y dar un aire náutico a este restaurante en la terraza casual,que se adentra en el puerto de Golfito.
